In an effort to impart relevant and practical information to our partners, a free all-day training was sponsored by the County Attorney’s Office on August 9th at the Washington County Courthouse. This was the fourth year such training was held. There were nearly 60 attendees comprised of principals, assistant principals, police officers, and even one superintendent. Tony Zdroik trained, along with a school district attorney, on law enforcement access to students and data practices issues. Imran Ali spoke about sexually trafficked youth in Washington County. There were also presentations on current drug trends, chemical dependency programs for youth, and racial disparity issues with school suspensions.
